Becoming a School of Sanctuary

LAS_Poster

No school is ever starting their Sanctuary journey from scratch!

With our support, schools self-direct in their engagement with this Learn/Action/Share framework. These Sanctuary principles are embedded into the fabric of school life and schools build portfolios to showcase their work.

The Sanctuary journey will add strengths and sustainability to ongoing plans and initiatives and also introduce new ideas and ways of modelling and celebrating diversity, welcome and inclusion.

Schools aim to achieve the Champion School of Sanctuary award. This is granted to the school when it is agreed by a 'monitoring team' that the criteria of the Sanctuary Charter have been fulfilled.

What actions, campaigns, events will bring the Sanctuary journey to life in your school?
